EnCata Hardware (IoT&Sci-Tech) meetup

On 26th of September in business-incubator of Minsk high tech park an EnCata Hardware (IoT&Sci-Tech) meetup took place.
Dozens of talented specialists and inventors came to gain experience about the successful realization of hardware projects and also to get inspiration for new ideas.

Petr Dudin, the CCO of Hackspace Capital Fund and the development manager of EnCata Company, shed light on some new investing trends in the field of hardware and sci-tech and showed the advantages of investment funds.

Michael Vaga, The CEO of successful project “Hand Energy ” used it as an example to show the audience how to launch a project and conduct a successful Kickstarter campaign.

The second part of the meetup was dedicated to the presentation of other hardware startups by their founders.

Here’s the list of projects that have been presented on the meetup:

”Coremergy” — the ecosystem for observation and early detection of heart work disorders;

”Immigrad“ — modern meth of teach how to play music instruments;

”PocketBot“ — personal mobile robot;

”MindQr“ — the system of biological feedback;

“Stend-Up” — the smart- stand for the control of IoT and Sci-Tech prototypes.

According to the voting results of the meetup participants, “PocketBot” became a favorite of the event.

“PocketBot” Is a development of the engineering group led by Gregrory Procopovich of Belarusian National Science Academy. The invention provides users with the functionality of a smart phone and the opportunity of communication between a robot and human being with the help of the emotional constituent. “PocketBot” also can look after children and pets and what is more it’s much more user-friendly than it’s competitors on the market.

“PocketBot” will be awarded with the prototyping expertise form Encata as the best hardware startup, and will also get the opportunity to be manufactured with 3d printer.
