Conquering fear, worry, and panic by (keeping busy) using your time wisely

While staying at home during this uncertain time in the world, you may be thinking how can I still be useful?

Looking at past wisdom:

“To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.” (Ralph Waldo Emerson)

Remembering when in school, the teachers would ingrain in you: “Use your time wisely”. That’s what I’m doing (and you can too) with their motherly advice, in the 5 ways below…

Keeping ourselves (and our families) busy, can help to deal with anxious feelings. Because worry is not productive. It’s a natural way to feel but you can end up producing nothing, adding unnecessary stress, possibly thinking or acting irrationally, and feeling hopelessness.

Praying, meditation, talking to your rock steady friends, and getting the facts may help you calm. Be concerned about your environment, but don’t panic or be hysterical since that can paralyze you in fear.

“Fear defeats more people than any other one thing in the world.” (Ralph Waldo Emerson)
