Convergence’s ConvX Product Walkthrough
Asset swaps on Convergence are a simple way to trade ERC-20 tokens for another via an automated liquidity pool, this guide is a step by step walkthrough of how to use our AMM. We are currently offering liquidity pools for swaps between the following assets: CONV, ETH and USDT, with more to come in the future.

How to Swap
To use our AMM to swap tokens, you must already have one of the existing liquidity pool assets in your wallet. Then you can use our interface to swap your assets.
- First, you will need ETH to pay the transaction fees. You can instantly get 1 KETH per 24h per GitHub account by visiting https://faucet.kovan.network/ and submitting your Kovan address.
- To start testing CONV, contact admin in the telegram group and admin will disperse CONV within 24hours
For our walkthrough we will explain how to buy CONV with ETH, and how to swap ETH to CONV.
1. Buy CONV tokens
a. If you do not have CONV tokens in your wallet, click Buy CONV to swap ETH for CONV tokens on the top right, next to the ‘Connect Wallet’ button. It will automatically direct you to the ETH-CONV pair.
2. Swap tokens
CONV is default to be the quote token for all Asset-to-CONV swaps (except for USDT-ETH pair).
a. Input the amount of CONV you would like to swap for the quote asset.
b. Click the settings icon to change the customise your transaction settings, then press Update Setting to confirm.
c. Click Swap, to swap at one go. If you have never swapped with CONV before on Uniswap, you will authorise your wallet to interact with Convergence Finance. You only need to approve once for it to work across all our UIs, as it goes through our smart contracts.
d. Click Confirm to authorise CONV.
e. Click Confirm again to continue with the transaction.
f. Wait for the confirmation.
g. Successful swap screen below. Click Add to Metamask to add the asset to your MetaMask.
h. Click Add Token to add the asset to your MetaMask.
i. Once the new asset is added, your screen should look like this:
Bravo! You have now completed your first swap on Convergence, which will be executed depending on the gas fee you have chosen to pay.
