Yearn x Sushi 行ってきます
I had been outspoken in the past about the things that Sushiswap did wrong, but I cannot overstate how much they have done right. In the past weeks of interacting with 0xMaki I have developed immense respect for their character, their capabilities, and their execution. Boring, has given me a similar experience, and shown me to be an incredibly strong, motivated, and talented developer, quickly catching mistakes that I did not notice. These two alone would be invaluable to have along for our mutual journey, yet the Sushiswap team is so much more and they will continue to grow.
As Sushi focused on expanding their AMM ecosystem, and as Yearn focused on expanding their strategies, more and more overlap became apparent, Yearn needed custom AMM experiences for their strategies, and Sushi started pushing the boundaries of yield and money markets.
With these overlaps, more and more work started to become mutualistic, and at this point, it makes to take the relationship to the next level.
This is one of the more aggressive synergies, and as such a few core items are to be voted on via governance, but I believe the items presented will not only help foster the ecosystem, but help us expand to something much greater.

- Sushiswap & Yearn merge development resources
- Sushiwap & Yearn TVL increases
- Sushiswap will complete and launch Deriswap in collaboration
- Integration of Keep3r inside Sushibar v2
- Yearn strategies will use Sushiswap moving forward
- Yearn will help create xSushi vaults so people can earn SUSHI-ETH-YFI-wBTC.
- Keep3r will move the full treasury as liquidity to Sushiswap KP3R/ETH (~$11MM)
- Keep3r will implement on-chain limit orders, stop loss, and take profit for Sushiswap LPs
- Keep3r will offer gasless swaps via MetaWallet for Sushiswap trades
- Sushiswap will be involved in a stealth project following Deriswap release with Yearn
- Sushiswap money market will be launched that uses Sushi LP as collateral
- Cream protocol reserve will provide liquidity to Bento Box
- Cover agnostic protocol will launch to use SUSHI as coverage and allow covSUSHI to cover individual pairs, such as CLAIM-SUSHI-WETH-WBTC
- Coverage money market will include Sushiswap perpetual coverage
- Sushi token and governance will stay the same
- 0xMaki will lead the AMM arm of yEarn
Synergies*
- Yearn will be allocated 0.2x allocations for pairs that needs to be incentives (make more liquid potential candidate CRV<> yyveCRV or any other pairs or vault)
- Yearn will participate in Sushi governance and add to its treasury some SUSHI
- Sushiswap will participate and add to its treasury YFI
- Grants for Sushi contributors will now be paid via yGift
- Keep3r/ETH will be added to the permanent menu
