The Pros and Cons of Using Nextdoor.com

It’s nice to see neighbors helping neighbors, but there’s always drama.

Nextdoor.com is an online network. It allows neighbors to communicate with each other. They can share pictures of missing pets, list items for sale, advertise an event, or ask for recommendations. People can also post complaints about dog walkers, bad drivers, loud music, or recent crimes.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors

It’s nice to see someone post a picture of a missing pet that someone happened to find wandering around their backyard. I’m happy to see Nextdoor.com work, especially when someone finds their beloved dog or cat that went missing. Of course, it’s always sad when the reunion doesn’t happen and the pet is never found.

Right now, our community is looking for a missing dog named Mojo. He was recently spotted in the area, but he hasn’t made it home yet.

I live in an area that’s rapidly growing. People who are new to Northern Nevada want recommendations. They want to find a good dentist, a reliable doctor, a great hair and nail salon, a nice sushi restaurant, local artwork, and more. Most of all, people want a network. A community.
