We’d like to say massive thanks to all of you who joined the ThunderCore AMA on 22nd June at Multichain Telegram. This is a recap of the entire session, in case you missed it!

Q1.ThunderCore, as the TOP10 Blockchain in the industry in terms of users’ number, can you let us know what makes ThunderCore so special compared to Ethereum & What are the advantages of your ecosystem?

ThunderCore: ThunderCore is a secure, high-performance, EVM-compatible public blockchain with its own native currency, TT. With a breakthrough consensus protocol that overcomes the scalability trilemma called PaLa, the ThunderCore network offers 4,000+ TPS, 1 second confirmation times, and low gas fees that cost less than a fraction of a cent, giving decentralized applications security and scalability, and that’s what makes ThunderCore special⚡️

Multichain Host: Thanks for your response. Can’t wait to join ThunderCore!

Q2. ThunderCore Is Boosting the NFT Ecosystem and established the NFT Creator found, what does this mean for your ecosystem and what can it bring to users?

ThunderCore: In fact, ThunderCore has been an early believer and supporter of NFTs since the very beginning. Actually one of the reasons I founded ThunderCore was back in 2017, the popular NFT game cryptokitties clogged the Ethereum chain and pushed up the gas price. Back then we thought that congestion(i.e. High gas price) on Ethereum will be a serious problem, hence we decided to start ThunderCore.

I think that NFT is a really good use-case that demonstrates just how easy, cheap and fast it is to use the ThunderCore blockchain. For example, Most recently, Capture Club’s integrity framework makes it a truly one-of-a-kind NFT marketplace. By getting listed on ThunderCoreHub, its NFT sales increased by 30% in a mere 2 weeks.

Multichain Host: Thanks for your detailed introduction! It’s very impressive. Well next question~

Q3. ThunderCore is known as the №1 Blockchain for Game #DApp Developers and #Metaverse explorers, how did ThunderCore get here and why are you a good fit for Gamefi?

ThunderCore: We enabling speeds of over 4,000 transactions per second (TPS), confirmation times under 1 second, and gas costs under a fraction of a cent, all of which aid the goals of scalability, decentralization and security.

Since 2019, ThunderCore has built a very vibrant ecosystem without any security issue, including multiple bridges, decentralized exchanges, stablecoin exchanges, oracle, NFT marketplace, multisig wallets, GameFi and credit market, etc. Until now, ThunderCore has crossed a number of major milestones in 2022. These include TT Wallet hitting well over 400,000 MAU, reaching international users in over 190 countries, achieving a block height over 97 million, getting to over 326 million total transactions, and entering DappRadar’s top 10 public blockchains in terms of user count.

Our launch of the Iris network upgrade for our mainnet has been another major accomplishment achieved as of late. The new upgrade ensures that porting DApps from chains like Avalanche, Ethereum, Polygon, and BSC is easier than ever. It also guarantees that our EVM-compatible blockchain is completely up to date in its interoperability with Ethereum’s Solidity programming language.

Our team believes that in the future, Web3 elements will be seamlessly integrated into the Web2 world, and we’re inspired about the possibilities of bringing decentralized elements over into the existing Web2 architecture.

In addition, we are very bullish on the prospects of mobile entertainment in Web3 as the technology is accessible to a vast user base, which led us to create our mobile SDK. We are also building durable partnerships with NFT marketplaces as well as in the SocialFi, GameFi, and Metaverse spaces, with a particular interest in entertainment, since fun and games are likely the best way to onboard users from Web2, in particular from mobile apps focused on entertainment.

Multichain Host: Terrific!!

Q4. What are your views on cross-chain bridges such as Multichain and how do you feel about our collaboration?

ThunderCore: ThunderCore is fortunate to be able to join itself to this extraordinary connector of blockchains, and best of all, we are only just getting started in our cooperation, with much deeper integrations to come. Together with Multichain, we seek to build out the foundations for a Web3 that is completely interoperable. At the same time, by plugging ourselves into this new decentralized information highway, we are gaining a huge boost to the utilization of our own ecosystem, as it will become more and more convenient and desirable to both users and developers looking to call ThunderCore their home.

Our ultimate goal is to make ThunderCore accessible to each and every unique blockchain that is setting out to tackle whatever problem with its own ingenious Web3 solution. With the support of Multichain, we come one step closer to that vision. From now on, it will be easier for our users to bridge tokens in and out, while we are also reducing the barriers to cooperation between different DApps on various chains.

Multichain Host: It’s also our pleasure to partner with ThunderCore and make contributions to the Multi-chain ecosystem.Let’s move to the next question

Q5. Recently ThunderCore’s upcoming ThunderGene API tool aims to bring mass adoption through Web 2.5 #BUIDL. So what does this bring to users and developers?

ThunderCore: While many more people hear about NFT and Bitcoins nowadays, there is still not a lot of adoption, because it is hard to onboard users and developers. Our existing API Tool for all developers provides an easy utility of TT wallet for all users. And it’s time for bringing convenience to Web2 developers. ThunderGene is created to have a web2 API for developers who have little Web3 knowledge (e.g developers don’t need to know smart contracts or pay gas fee to be able to issue tokens or create NFTs). We want to make it easier for the general public to learn and use Web3, and we believe the best way is through seamless integration with existing web2 mobile applications. Imagine when you’re playing a game, you can earn in-game currencies and rare equipment. The game would create a wallet for the player to automatically store the in-game currency as token and rare equipment as NFTs. Players do not need to learn about Web3 at all initially, players can learn about it when they want to trade NFT equipment or cash out as well as they can all be utilized in the ThunderCore Ecosystem and enlarge much more user base for quick adoption. ThunderGene API tool will be released soon later in 2022.

We are extremely excited about all the use cases that ThunderGene is able to unlock by turbocharging Web2 apps into Web3 apps while preserving all the existing user base⚡️

Multichain Host: Before moving to the next part,we are gonna have our final question.

Q6. Can you share us ThunderCore’s roadmap? &What is the next plan?

ThunderCore: Since 2021, ThunderCore has been focusing on the construction of applications in the ecosystem and encouraging both developers and users to experience DApps on ThunderCore Blockchain. We have made efforts to improve cross-chain integration services, completing the cross-chain integration of Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, and Huobi ECO Chain; exerting the power of blockchain as an asset to provide users with more opportunities to benefit in the fields of GameFi, NFT, financial derivatives, etc.; assisting developers to make various innovations in product models, and creating a variety of innovative and popular products.

Here are the questions we picked up from Twitter:

Multichain Host: Thanks for sharing.

In the next two parts, we will have two opportunities for airdrops respectively.

Let’s now proceed to the first part. There r five questions from Twitter have been selected that appear to be of interest to our users.

Twitter Q1@Tegprop: “please explain what are the important factors in solving scalability carried out by the thundercore team?”

ThunderCore: Without going too deep into the technical details, the key innovation is the PaLa consensus algorithm, developed by world-class computer scientists from Cornell Univerisity and MIT.

the PaLa consensus algorithm is geared towards settings that require high throughput, and is what enables ThunderCore to achieve 4000+TPS and sub-second confirmation times

Twitter Q2 — @Anwar3hossain :“Is your platform suitable for Crypto beginners? Or is it only appealing to professional users?”

ThunderCore: Back in 2017, my vision for ThunderCore was to build a L1 blockchain that is truly for the masses and throughout the years, one of the flagship products we’ve built is the TT Wallet (previously known as the ThunderCore Hub)

I strongly encourage everyone to download the TT Wallet from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and give it a try!you will realize just how easy it is for beginners to use the app!which is exactly what we set out to do⚡️

Twitter Q3 — @vikram___rajak :“Collaborations and partnerships are some of the most important cornerstones to help improve adoption. Could you please tell us about the current partners, plans for partnerships and what everybody stands to gain from these partnerships?”

ThunderCore:Obviously one of our most valued partners is Multichain🤝but in addition to the collaboration with Multichain, we also have a great lineup of partners that are value aligned with us to achieve our vision.

For instance: Ethereum: We received a grant from Ethereum foundation in 2018 to help us promote EVM compatible public blockchain

Binance: Binance Research published a report on ThunderCore

Sandbox: we advised Sandbox on strategy

Trust wallet: Trust wallet supported TT since launch

Ledger: also supports TT (both through Metamask and the native App)

OurSong: issued most of their NFT on ThunderCore

Numbers: issued all their NFT on ThunderCore .

just to name a few⚡️and we look forward to working with more partners!

Twitter Q4 — @Lo88Cu: “1.Will Hub Wallet add more assets/ tokens like MATIC/ ZIL/ VET? 2. Will the DEX be upgraded? 3. Will Hub add NFT support for MATIC and ETH?”

ThunderCore: We are constantly listening to community feedback and supporting new assets on the TT Wallet (or referred to as the Hub wallet for long time ThunderCore users). So stay tuned and be on the lookout for our updates! You may see some of the features go live very soon👀
