Grakn Labs is pleased to announce that we have recently joined the Google Cloud Technology Partner Program to provide Grakn Labs Cloud.
Grakn is the database for AI. AI systems need a knowledge base to manage their data because they produce and consume more complex information than average software. Grakn is a database in the form of a distributed knowledge base with a reasoning query language that allows you to model, verify, scale, query and analyse complex data easily. By providing a query language that uses machine reasoning to uncover knowledge too complex for human cognition to infer, Grakn Labs allows organisations to grow their competitive advantage, all the while reducing engineering time, cost, and complexity.
Google Cloud Platform is a cloud computing service by Google that offers hosting on the same supporting infrastructure that Google uses internally for end-user products like Google Search and YouTube. It is the engine behind many innovative cloud solutions, such as Spotify and Feedly.
We plan to use Grakn Labs Cloud to offer single click provisioning of a scalable Grakn Labs deployment on top of Google Compute Engine — benefiting from super fast SSDs and per-minute pricing. Integrating with Google Dataproc, the managed Spark/Hadoop product, Grakn Labs customers will be able to run Analytics on very large scale datasets to crunch big data.
We are very excited by the opportunity to partner with Google at this point in the growth of our product to provide services to our clients that leverage both the scaling capabilities of Google and intelligence of Grakn.
We’re also in the process of the deploying Grakn on Oracle Cloud and IBM Bluemix, so stay tuned to our updates. By the end of this year, we plan to provide Grakn as a service on all leading cloud infrastructures of the world for you to easily integrate with your applications!
