As Artificial Intelligence or AI become buzzword as Tech Companies launched their LLMs. We should Aware about Responsible AI.

Let us discuss about certain Responsible AI Principles which we should know.

AI without unintended negative consequences:

  1. Fairness — Fair to all groups of people
    - “System’s decisions don’t discriminate or run a gender, race, sexual orientation, or religion bias toward a group or individual.”
    - Data should reflect diversity, Model should evolve with time.
  2. Reliability and Safety — Continues working under high loads, unexpected situations etc.
    - What happens in bad weather? what if GPS is down? What happens if data is bad?
    Test, Test and Test That’s all we can do.
  3. Privacy and Security — of people and data! (information and controls)
    - Never ever comprises with someone PII (Personal Identifiable Information)
    - Important consideration from day ZERO!
  4. Inclusiveness — Nobody left out.
    - Violation: Leaving out a certain group of people (ex: people with disabilities)
    - Make sure your solution will be suitable for all the group. (Just like we handle edge cases in programming)
  5. Transparency — Explain-ability, debuggability.
    - clear explanation to users what problem we are exactly trying to solve.
  6. Accountability — Meets ethical and legal standards.
    - AI is NOT the final decision maker. An enterprise, a team or a person is.

These were the six Responsible AI principles which we have looked it.
