【生命中的一堂課】Begin with Sa Ta Na Ma 2017.07.26

In the course of Today, we did deep breathing to refresh our brain and throw the noise signal and message out in the beginning. Then we started a practice called “Sa, Ta, Na, Ma”, the most important meditation in Kundalini Yoga.
The first step, we used our voice to chant out louder. Then chanted by whisper, Cindy said “it is a kind of language with love”. Third, we don’t make any sound, just open the mouth to make a air voice. After that repeated whisper again. Finally, return to the “Sa, Ta, Na, Ma” with louder sound. Note that each step keep about 3~5 mins.
In the second activity, we followed the instruction of Cindy, we did some body gesture moving.
- Moving out our legs by slowly steps, then freeze a while.
- Practicing strength training for both legs and arms to step out our body.
- Trying to extend the body limitation with Big Jump and movement. In that moment, I imaged I am a skilled monster trying to scare children as the scenarios in Monsters, Inc.

Also, we learned how to create an improvisation performance with partners. In that moment, I came from an interesting idea. The situation is “I drive my car to Costco buying something, but my car is broken when I arrived Costco. I would like to take many food and drink back to home, so I put everything on the shopping cart, then push cart through the highway. It is dangerous, but it is funny. Accidentally, my shopping cart hit a woman. She call police for help. Then … …”
This is what I learned in the course of this week, thanks Cindy. Next week is the final course, we should prepare public speaking to describe a new job which doesn’t exist in the world, describe it as clear as we can, ex: job description, salary, benefit and something else.
