📈 Trading Insights

  • Growth in 2020 continued for June with volume up 6% from $115.83 million in May to $122.84 million in June, starting to close in on the March 2020 all-time high of $133 million in volume. If that’s not promising enough, over $1.3 billion of volume has flowed through 0x’s pipes since the protocol was launched.
  • Generated protocol fees for the month almost doubled, jumping from $12,650 in May to $24,651 in June. That’s an all time high, continuing the upward trend.
  • To date, over $88,000 worth of protocol fees have been generated for redistribution to 0x ecosystem stakeholders.
  • The official 0x exchange, Matcha, was launched to the public this month. At the time of writing over $3.5 million of assets have been exchanged on Matcha.
  • ZRX staking also continued to see an upward trend increasing from 16.5 million ZRX staked at the end of May to over 21.9 million ZRX by the end of June. That’s $7.35 million worth of ZRX staked, and a 33% increase.

🗺 Ecosystem News

It’s been another busy month for the 0x ecosystem with plenty of updates, partnerships, product launches, and announcements:

Matcha unifies DEX protocols making it easy to find the assets you need

🌵 0x Tracker Updates

There’s not too much to update on for 0x Tracker this month. The big focus has been around backend stability and reintroducing some functionality related to fees which was lost when 0x upgraded to v3 earlier in the year. More to come on that soon!

We welcomed two new relayers to the site, SwitchDex and Matcha.

It’s worth noting that the Matcha metrics on 0x Tracker currently only account for fills of limit orders created in Matcha. Other volume is attributed under 0x API. Discussions around how we can improve this have started with the 0x team and there’s some exciting changes on the horizon.
