Important info about Crowdsale
The only source for applying to 0xcert Whitelist, KYC, and participating in 0xcert Crowdsale is the official website https://0xcert.org, and the only correct domain is 0xcert.org! To avoid confusion, it is pronounced zero x cert, and a zero (0) appears in the URL.
Getting ready
In order to partake in either Crowdsale or Presale of 0xcert’s ICO, passing the KYC procedure first is obligatory.
Here we explain some details about the KYC.
Before you begin with the KYC, we suggest you have two things ready:
- Your ID (Passport or National Identification card), its scan or snapshot
- Your Ethereum wallet address
1. KYC Form
To qualify for 0xcert KYC, you have to submit your Whitelist application, first. If you haven’t done so yet, please whitelist here.
After having successfully whitelisted, you receive an email with an invite to pass the 0xcert KYC. Passing the KYC is a necesarry requirement for participating in the 0xcert ICO which starts with Presale on July 2.
In the KYC invite email, find the “Proceed with KYC” button, a click on it brings you to the 0xcert KYC form.
IMPORTANT: Whitelist is open until July 18. KYC is open until July 31.
2. Fill out the KYC Form
Fill out the form with your information. It should be the same as the data on the ID you chose for the KYC.
Q: Should I write all the details or only some important ones?
A: Please fill out all the fiels, except the Middle name if you don’t have one.
- First name
- Middle name — if you don’t have one, leave empty
- Last name
- Gender
- Address of residence — number, street
- City / Town
- Postal code
- Date of birth — month/day/year
- Nationality — IMPORTANT: China, United States, and New Zealand residents and citizens cannot participate in 0xcert ICO
- Mobile phone —your mobile phone number (+ country code)
- Country of residence — IMPORTANT: China, United States, and New Zealand residents and citizens cannot participate in 0xcert ICO
- State / Region — Region or State of your residence
- Which ETH address will you be sending funds from? — the ETH address that you will send fund for participating in 0xcert ICO from. IMPORTANT: The ETH must be compatible with an ERC-20 wallet. Do NOT send funds neither from a smart contract nor from an exchange. You can risk losing all your funds if you do so, since they will not land into the right address.
- Contribution amount (ETH) — how much do you intend to contribute
- ID type — Passport or National Identity Card
- ID number — exact number as it appears in your ID
- Your intention for purchase — why would you like to participate in the 0xcert Crowdsale:
Before moving on to the next step, please double-check your details. If the data is inserted correctly, accept the agreements and submit the form by clicking the “Proceed” button.
A Thank you page that appears next, brings you to the next step.
3. Submit ID
You should now be redirected to onFido authentication engine, 0xcert’s KYC ID verification provider, which helps us provide top data screening security.
To continue, click on the “Proceed to ID verification” button.
4. OnFido ID Verification
To proceed with identity check, you should upload two pictures as a proof of your ID authenticity.
- A clear picture or a scan of your ID: Passport or national ID card (front and back photo)
- A portrait photo— selfie
To make sure your KYC application is submitted successfully, the files you submit must meet the following requirements:
- Your ID must be valid, within expiry date. No physical alterations allowed. The data must be intact and original.
- Take the scan/photo of the document in natural sunlight or other bright area, so that the data on it is legible and the photo is clear.
- Scanned/photograph the ID in its entirety, capture all four corners, its whole content must be visible.
- Use smart phone or digital camera to take photos, but avoid watermarks or logos from an app or program used to download/edit them.
- Take a selfie portrait at the time of the KYC application.
- When you take a selfie, do so in a well-lit area, indoors or without direct sunlight. Remove any accessory that would make your face unidentifiable.
IMPORTANT: If the files you submit do not meet the above conditions, the KYC provider could reject your application.
After you choose the files, a click on “Upload” button will move you forward.
Once all the documents are uploaded and submitted, the KYC procedure is done. amd onFido will review and verify your data and confirm your identity. When the KYC procedure is completed, you will receive an e-mail confirmation within 24 hours.
FAQ
Q: The button doesn’t work, I only see “An error occurred” message. What to do?
A: If by accident you encounter this:
please return to the previous page, refresh it and try again.
Q: I submitted my KYC form several times, do I now have a bigger chance of participating?
A: The number of submitted applications is not a factor. Only one application per user is taken into account.
Q: How do I know my data is safe?
A: The onFido verification engine that we employ is one of the world’s top authorization providers, keeping your data safe.
Q: How will I know if my KYC application was accepted?
A: After verified KYC, you get an email confirming that your KYC data has been received. If your KYC application failed or was declined, you receive an email with instructions to repeat the process.
Q: I submitted the KYC, but no confirmation email landed in my Inbox. Is now my KYC application submitted or not?
A: Refresh your Inbox or check your Spam and Promotion e-mail folders. If there is still no email from our part to be found, please write us at hello@0xcert.org.
Q: I whitelisted already. Do I really need to do the KYC, too?
A: If you want to participate in 0xcert Presale and Crowdsale to purchase ZXC tokens, passing the KYC is required and obligatory. Whitelisting only does not guarantee your participation in the 0xcert ICO.
Other important information regarding 0xcert KYC and ICO
- Whitelist for Public Presale open: until July 2, 12:00 CEST.
- Whitelist for Public Crowdsale open: July 2, 12:00 CEST — July 18, 24:00 CEST.
- Whitelisting for Public Presale counts as whitelisting for Public Crowdsale, too. No need to whitelist twice.
- Public Presale: July 2, 17:00 CEST — July 4, 16:59 CEST
- Public Crowdsale: July 4, 17:00 CEST — July 18, 24:00 CEST
- KYC open: June 20 — July 31
- Token name: ZXC
- Token price: 1 ZXC = 0.0001 ETH
- Soft cap: ~5,000 ETH
- Hard cap: ~20,000 ETH (based on bonus distribution)
- Currency accepted: ETH (Ethereum)
- All token buyers will get their ZXC token in their wallet within 7 days after the ending date of the Public Crowdsale.
- All tokens that are not be sold during a certain phase will be transferred to the next phase.
- Restricted countries: United States, China, New Zealand
- There is no upper limit on the amount or value of purchased ZXC tokens.
