The year is drawing to an end and holiday events are popping up everywhere. While we’re not in the holiday spirit just yet, we’re still enjoying meetups and the joy of socializing, especially it’s related to the core topic of 0xcert — non-fungibility.
Čakovec, the center of non-fungibility for a weekend
This end of the week, we’re attending the Bločk 2018 Conference, NFT Edition in the picturesque town of Čakovec in Northern Croatia, a 48-hour home for the blockchain and non-fungibility enthusiasts of this part of Europe.
The conference is targeting the blockchain developers and projects dealing specifically with NFTs which is like music to our ears. With very limited seating available, we’re honored to have been invited to present the 0xcert work and ideas.
The Bločk Conference takes off tomorrow, December 14, and ends up the day after with a compulsory evening afterparty and networking. The first day will host workshops dealing with deployment and metadata of NFTs, while the second will see some inspiring faces from peer projects and initiatives come to the stage.
Time to learn
Our CSO Urban’s turn to do so will be on Saturday morning at 10:15 am when he’ll share our views and experiences with non-fungible collectibles, as well as the potential of connecting physical assets and NFTs. (And maybe, he’ll share some announcements, too? Hint, hint)
Also, we’re proud to be the event’s Silver sponsor. At 0xcert, we believe that the non-fungible branch of the blockchain needs spokespeople and specialized events such as Bločk, so it’s always a privilege to be able to support such incentives.
Time to play
Overall, the conference will surely serve many inspiring ideas, thought-provoking questions, and collaboration possibilities.
And, as a cherry on top, the Bločk organizers went a step further — they will bring the NFTs and our interaction with them beyond the frame of our monitors, by making us move in the outdoor CryptoHunt. It will surely be a great addition to the indoor and thinking side of the conference, and an excellent chance for participants to explore the town hosting non-fungibility for the weekend.
