Sometimes I don’t feel up to slaying dragons.

I don’t even like the word “slay”. I don’t like violence or beating someone else in order to feel good.

So who wins if I climb back into my cave and stop sharing the wonder that is who I am?

Who wins if you stop sharing the wonder of who you are?

Who wins if that person over there you hadn’t even noticed before never even begins to share the wonder of who she is?

Here’s the thing: everyone of us is a miracle. The fact we exist in exactly the form we do had so little likelihood of coming to be and yet, here we are. Existing. Some of us thriving. Any one of us, able to, at any given moment.

I’m going to step out, move out into this world beyond this screen right now to find more invisible dragons to slay or not slay. I will show up. I will be there.
