I had a goosy gander last night on eye creams at Cult Beauty, and I can’t believe the price of some of these eye products. Besides The Ordinary and The Inkey List, it’s big bucks for eye creams. In my opinion, there are far too many skincare products on the market, and some of them are not cheap.

Want an instant rosy glow on the face (and body) — use raw shea butter. It’s a zero on the non-comedogenic scale so this ingredient does not block the pores and it’s incredibly nourishing so a little shea butter goes a long way.

Back onto the refreshing eye gel. Although these two ingredients combined won’t get rid of fine lines and wrinkles, this is a refreshing gel to perk up the eye area, and I certainly need it because my eyes look tired pretty much all the time. It can be used on the eyelids too.

The two ingredients:

  • Half a teaspoon of rose water
  • Teaspoon of aloe vera gel

Mix together and apply to the undereye area and lids (optional) for an instant refreshing eye gel.
