The conversation piece

Are you tired of having the same, predictable meetings over and over again? Cure the déjà vu with a conversation piece!

A conversation piece is “an unusual object that arouses comment or interest”. It’s a great way to bring energy and focus to sleepy meetings.

If you already have existing products or demos that you want to discuss, just bring them. However, when you want to explore abstract ideas or early concepts, you need to be more creative. Craft your own conversation piece from found objects such as cardboard, LEGO or other toys. Dramatic lighting, background music and fog to kick things off is highly recommended!

You can create models of more than just your product. If you build a scene with characters that represent your users, you can better explain the context in which your product or service will be used.

With a bit of luck, your creation will stir up interesting conversations, improve alignment and help your audience better remember your message.
