Day 15 — I got a new job

Teaching is part of doctoral researcher responsibilities at my university. Today I committed to assisting with two courses.

The professor who approached me in relation to that work has been teaching me my first class. He new that I have background in finance, so these two courses were a good match with my skills. It will be really fun to get involved in courses where I can learn a bit of new things (or see new angles of looking at issues) and contribute with my own experiences.

More specifically, one of the course is quite practical and includes crunching numbers in Excel. This one of my favorite activities, so will be really fun I hope.

Let’s see, I might offer the students a voluntary workshop in Excel (shortcuts, tips & tricks and maybe some things related to financial modeling).
