To walk on Mars in my lifetime
In 2078, I’ll be a 100 years old. I hope my memory still serves me then. And I hope I get there, of course.
Of course I wanna have a good and cool life, with family and friends. Beyond that, crazy career success with travels and social impact. In an evolving industry that really does something good for the society and humanity.
And I want to go to the Mars. Really. People will be there in 10 years or so. If I’m financially capable and healthy, why not as a tourist in 60 years? I think I won’t be able to get there as a scientist, but as a tourist, explorer, seeker? Why not?
I think that would be a reasonable bucket list wish. To walk on Mars in my lifetime. More than half a century is a long way. I’ll keep my fingers crossed and make an effort to be healthy and a good person, who contributes to the future of society.
