Zoom out, society.

It’s good to be reminded of a larger scale of the world, to view our society from the bird’s perspective.

Today I stumbled on a tweet with the link to a statistics about the last two centuries. It was about how much poverty decreased, how much we developed as society, about death rate decreasing…

Bottom line, it is often a good reminder of how much we have to be grateful for. Of course there is much to be improved, but we have never been, as a humanity, in a better position to really develop dream society.

And as the author of tweet that I stumbled upon Tim O’Reilly said:

What amazing progress we have made as a species! Let’s not blow it now.
