Victoria
Fragment no. 4
He drops his head as the bus makes a sudden turn, and he sees a young woman sitting across from him, tall and poised, holding a lab coat in her arms. He thinks of Victoria then. Victoria and her shy smile, a set of science books under her arm. Victoria and her long, straight hair, her dark irises contemplating him, prying into his thoughts. Victoria, her loud laugh and equally loud opinions that were only spoken once she felt in confidence, her quiet demeanour slipping away through the cracks of her self-abandonment. Victoria and her soft, lean body wrapped around his on a rainy afternoon, safe inside the dim lights of his bedroom. Victoria and her warm tongue inside his mouth that tasted like sweet milk. She was like a tight bud that had bloomed before him, in private realization. Victoria and her round, tearful eyes looking at him through the glass, a small quiver in her mouth.
