The Mirrors in My House

I was prepared for a lot of things when I entered motherhood, but what I didn’t expect was the mirror-like effect my children had in every part of my life. They reflect me perfectly: the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Some of the things they reflect make me happy: their love for bullet journaling and books, my daughter’s fascination with doula work.

But sometimes what they reflect isn’t good.

They remind me that everyone should be intentional in setting good examples, because each of us is a role model for someone else.
