Day 10: There are no idle thoughts.
One of the most significant lessons I’ve learned so far has been the importance of paying attention to your thoughts. Regardless of how insignificant they may seem, each thought is, in fact, an incredibly powerful tool. Ultimately, how you decide to make use of these thoughts— and whether it’s for better or for worse — is completely up to you.
“Every thought that you give your attention to expands and becomes a bigger part of [you]. Whether it is a thought of something you want or a thought of something you do not want, your attention to it invites it into your experience.”
— Esther Hicks
Even if you find yourself unable to fully process your thoughts, it’s still very helpful for you to just notice them. What do you think about? How does it make you feel? What keeps coming up?
