Vertical gain/descent: 1350 m

Free camping in Japan, has been on our list for a long time and Iwaki-san finally made it happen as there is a lovely park at the foot of the mountain. Japan has amazing public facilities, super clean toilets, fantastic onsen, (bathing facilities) and vending machines with ice-cold or hot drinks are everywhere. The toilets always have toilet paper and are often heated as well. After spending a year in Hokkaido we were delighted to go back to the mainland where our car started talking about entering new prefectures again.
