[061] — The commuting game

I have been leaving home later since I’m back to my regular job. I can get away with arriving at the office at 9am without being ambushed by a million cascading problems. The only problem is the traffic.
The highlight of my commute is often joining another motorcyclist, filtering through the traffic and watching how they deal with it.
This morning I came across another motorcyclist on a big, black, Kawasaki Ninja. We both filtered to the front of a line of traffic, the motorcyclist saw me and deliberately twisted the throttle extra hard to disappear. I was next to them at the next traffic lights, though. At first I thought it was a guy, but then I noticed the shapely legs and tuft of black hair sticking out of the bottom of her helmet. Her helmet was a unique looking number with a striking, colourful design featuring a row of menacing yellow teeth. I looked down at her shoes, she was wearing those weird Vibram shoes with a separate compartment for each toe. Seemed like a strange choice to wear whilst riding a big moto like the Ninja.
I was with her for about 15 kilometres until she turned off somewhere East of the city.
She certainly provided me my day’s worth of entertainment.
