10. Screw your job title

I used to work for this company. Fun times. We all had quirky job titles instead of average, boring ones.

It’s a habit that’s stuck and when I started my own company, Digital Native, I called myself the Big Chief. SO MANY people have commented on it!

My title give me permission to do things differently, and it’s a great ice breaker. Funnily enough the folk who usually go most bananas about it are the ones with “Snr VP of some stupid division” on their business cards.

So go on, give yourself license to be different, screw your job title.
