Here’s to the ones who inspire me, to the ones who inspire others to say, with bewilderment: Did you ever consider that you are not a normal human being? To that, I say: define ‘normal’ and then break it into pieces. The word is nearly meaningless — it is a resting place of no imagination, the ugly bump of a bell curve, it is the status quo, it is following suit, falling into line and never questioning why or what if something else is possible.

Normal is a death sentence to other possibilities. It is what keeps us from acting on our whims and dreams. For all of those who want to be normal, I ask, did you ever consider that it’s abnormal to want to be normal?
