138. What do you do when you fall off your bike?

You get back on.
It does sort of depend on how bad the fall is though. With serious falls, people might be incapacitated for a while. With most falls though, you get back up, survey the damage and get back on your bike.
Life is like riding a bike. It requires balance. You can go fast, you can go slow. Sometimes, there is a tiny rock you didn’t see in the middle of the road that completely derails your journey.
You fall. You bleed. It hurts. You might cry a bit. But you can’t sit there and cry forever. That’s what we teach our kids. You will fall, but you just have to keep going.
If you kick up a fuss about it every single time, you will take even longer to get to your destination. Your journey will also be less enjoyable.
Home beckons — come on, get up. Let’s go.
