Maybe those shoes weren’t made for hiking but I think this is what happens with everything when enough time passes.

It starts to hurt, be uncomfortable, make you feel something different now after all that time has passed.

When the freshness of it being new and exciting wears off — you get a callus on your foot

Or sliced with arguments and romps organs, never to be sutured again, only healed and glued…if only..

This is how it happens with everything but it doesn’t necessarily mean my shoes reached their “expiration date” or your/my feelings reached the point of “no love”

It doesn’t mean THAT only in one case

If you’re the one closest to me

If you’re the person I share everything with

If you’ve been the most important person for me for over 20 years now

Nothing will change the love that takes a toll on you, but survives everything through the years of closeness and proximity

Distance isn’t as hard as closeness. Try to live with someone for 20 years. Or….Just try to put up with a person when this cute-lovely phase is over… I hope, love would be enough. But it never is, is it?

Thank you for reading my rant =)

And don’t forget to recommend ♥
