2017: A Disgrace Odyssey

New Years eve continued the tradition of women being disrespected(a lighter term) in the largest democracy in the world.
Bangalore saw almost 2 lakh people in the streets for the celebration. Drunk educated youths decided to celebrate by molesting women, getting physical to any extent of chasing after women on the streets, even groping and robbing them afterwards.
Reason: Women wore western clothes.
Don’t laugh it off.
This valid reason is backed by Government officials.
These incidents are not new — not to Bangalore, not to India.
Welcoming the year with such a blast only makes me think how 2017 is going to turn out in India.
