There was one digital poster* that changed my perspective towards life. It asked:

What is stopping you from saying something nice to someone else?

How often do we get caught self-conscious: How do I reply this? Would I come across too excited? Would I look too happy and geeky? Be cool about it.

I find myself retorting, but I am ecstatic!

It could be a high-school-be-cool syndrome. We stifle our feelings for a proper (stifled) relationship. Maybe it is okay to express genuine joy. High school is over and we are still kids who wished we made a difference.

*If you found it, holler.
