You can learn about sales from Mark Cuban. You can learn about leadership from Napoleon. You can learn about business strategy from Peter Drucker. You can learn about business from Warren Buffett.

There’s all sorts of literature about them in some fashion. Either a formal biography, or some piece of writing that dictates the way they run their profession.

Finding a mentor can be hard. It’s an awkward courting process that’s sort of like dating, but it’s not. You can’t walk up to a potential mentor and ask them out on a date (or can you?).

The easy (or passive aggressive) route can be to learn from the masters. The names we’ll remember. You can take away value from artists, musicians, and world leaders. You can cherry pick tidbits of knowledge from several individuals.

The mentorship is out there.
