299. In an alternate universe…
…You aren’t stuck.
You’re going exactly where you want to go in life. Your relationships are great, you don’t have to worry about money, or time, or getting up early. You can stay up late, watching re-runs of Grey’s Anatomy. You have no responsibilities.
You’re happy.
But in this world — your world — things aren’t going exactly as they are. You don’t have time to maintain the relationships you would like. You’re always rushing, you’re just getting by and sometimes you have to make a choice between whether you study to ace the test or spend time with your sick mother.
But guess what? You can still be happy.
The world doesn’t determine how you feel. Sure, it might not be as perfect as you want it to be, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get what you desire from it.
The alternate universe isn’t just a concept of physics. It’s a concept of life. You can shape your world depending on how you see it and interact with it.
