431. Wanted — Reading job

I probably have a few “dream” jobs. Work that in concept sound amazing, although we all know that the reality is often far more sobering.

One of those dream jobs would be reading.

Not an editor or researcher. Just somebody who reads for a living. I guess the closest thing would be a book reviewer (although that isn’t too appealing to me as I would find it hard to be tough on the authors, even of the book was terrible).

Reading is probably my favourite past time — I would even suggest that it’s a small contributor to my insomnia issue.

I’m not really sure who would pay me to simply read books, but if there’s anybody out there who would please get in touch!
