49. Definitely in need of an early night

I mentioned in one of my other stories earlier this week that I had been waking up at around 6–6.30 to run a workshop and going to bed between 2–3am after meeting friends for dinner and spending time afterwards sorting out things for the house.

This means that I was already running on fumes towards the end of my trip back to Malaysia. I wasn’t overly concerned as my flight departed at 2.10am and I figured I would be able to get a good sleep.

Unfortunately because of regular turbulence I was unable to rest as much as planned. It wasn’t stomach dropping, seat arm gripping turbulence. In fact it was very tolerable.

The issue was that it was pretty regular, and strong enough to shake me awake. So every time I dropped off I was rudely reawakened not long after.

So tonight I am planning on having a very early night. Here’s to hoping for a peaceful night’s sleep.
