Make it as much as possible and frequently. Make it so long that it’s almost uncomfortable. Make them see into your soul and peek into theirs so that they can feel what it’s like to stare into another human being rather than a glass and plastic phone. Make them laugh if you’re exiting an ice cream shop with remarks like “this ice cream is so unbelievably good you have to get some right now don’t even think about it just go”. Make them feel surprised, like you’re not just another shell of a human that’s walking by, but like you have a story to tell with your eyes. Make them feel something, even if it’s just for a second.
