7. The Elements
I’m learning to cope in heat, humidity, and rainy season. You see, we just moved to Japan in January 2016. Once the tomato and lemon seeds were germinated and ready to be planted, the rainy season came hard. Our edible balcony took a little hit from the weather — I’m learning not to water the plants, which is great! Our water bill is less this month than last month. These beautiful creatures are so vulnerable. I feel like their guardian and protector. The more I learn now, I’ll be ready for the big garden! When to plant what, what to keep in the greenhouse during the rainy season.
