70) Being Told to be Be Realistic
People have dreams and aspirations and expect them to be met.
Then their told to “be realistic.”
My dreams aren’t to build the next Google, become the next Tom Brady, or to win the mega million jackpot. My expectations are very simple, yet I’ve been told a few times in my life to “be realistic.”
Others have asked for more and have achieved more than enough for three lifetimes. Being told to be realistic is an unrealistic demand.
We live in a great time, where anything is possible. With the right amount of drive, intelligence, and work ethic, your dreams can be made a reality.
If you ask me, people that tell you to be realistic have given up on their dreams.
