Why do people say that anyway?

It’s as if it implies that what you’re living isn’t “the life”. We all know that the life we’re living is the only one we’ve got. But some of us are so busy trying to get to “the life” that we forget to live in our current life.

That’s sad — and is our source of unhappiness.

It’s not dissimilar to the scenario where people are looking for the love of their lives, completely ignoring the person who has been by their side all along.

I feel like the moment people realize this beauty that’s in front of them all along is one of the greatest moments of their lives.

Because it’s the moment that they finally exist in the present.
