8. The terrifying truth about creativity

If being creative is so liberating, why is it also so terrifying? I worked for a global ad agency when I was younger, the CD was super successful. I remember asking him once, after my first ad had gone to print, if the fear receded after years in the business.

He looked deep into my eyes and said “not one bit”.

Why is that?

Because in any real creative endeavour, you’re being vulnerable. You’re exposing a little of your story to the world.
