9. Part time Dad / full time charging station

I love my kids dearly, and a greatly enjoy the time I spend with them. But no matter how often I try to drill it into them, they just can’t understand the simple correlation between battery life & plugging in a thin white cable.

These little tykes are supposed to be digital natives!! Totally at ease in this wonderland of free (for them!) internet and iDevices. Two of the three were even born after the iPhone was first launched.

But for some strange reason they come to me at least once a day, quite perplexed, saying “no more battery daddy…”
