90. Where does your mind feel free?

It tends to be somewhere natural with wide spaces.

Last year, my company was acquired by a huge player in the cloud computing industry. Next week will mark my first year at said huge player.

I moved into their office in October last year. It’s about a 10 minute tram ride out from the CBD. I do miss working in the middle of the city but there is one advantage of this new location.

Right behind the building, there is a big park called Fawkner Park. I’ve spent several lunchtimes walking aimlessly around the park, letting my mind roam as well.

In this park, I decided I was going to become a novelist. I also dreamed of what else could be. If I have a particularly taxing day, a walk in the park is all that I need.

Do you have a place where your mind can recover from the rigors of life?
