[96] California Dreamin’

I woke up in Colorado and went to sleep in California, dreaming of Christmas and 2017, just around the corner, conflating memories of growing up in suburban New Jersey and all the humanity disappointing events of 2016 — waking up with a smile because the sun rose slowest on the west coast best coast and all of that behind me. I dream of the sun that’s sunnier, the birds chirping, the inner-eco coconut probiotic drink that contains multitudes, just like me, blonde hair that doesn’t care, all the stories I write including the narrative that is my own life and I have a feeling it’s going to be a good one this year.
