Am I just writing drivel now? Painstakingly engineering sentences? Re-arranging words to create any kind of message?

Or is it that writing without structure means writing without boundaries.

Once structure is imposed, one becomes more considered and more conscious of the scrawl. The bargain between me and the reader changed, ever so subtly.

Where I was ambiguous, I should be clearer. Where I was nuanced I must be more direct.

I used to write with pretence. Now I write with intent.

It is an odd feeling; to know that the more I write, the less words I’ll put on the page.

About me: Citizen of the World. I love writing, photography, travelling, reading, learning and growing. Medium is another journey in my life, let’s see what sights we may see. Sign up below for more of my musings.
