Some days I can see where things never get done. We save the best for last and the last runs out of energy. It’s held in such high regard. We want to make it perfect so by the end of the day, it’s better to save it for tomorrow. When we’re fresh. When we can give it the attention it deserves. When the ideal scenario will play out. Supreme conditions for a supreme idea. Action. But then tomorrow becomes today. Today, yesterday. A week. A month. A “holy shit, has it been that long?!” Always advancing, yes. But advancement on other’s dreams, not our own. Fooling ourselves that by helping them, we are doing ourselves a service. At what point do we say no. Make the ideal scenario a reality and action on our own dreams a priority?
