It was cold and rainy 
he was sitting in the road 
staring at some invisible point 
Lost in thoughts 
With Palms full of dirt and pain 
My eyes caught the
glimpse of that sight 
My heart was heavy full of something
Something that made me walk up to a store
Get something warm to eat 
For the poor man 
hanging palms in the thin air 
i walk up to him and handed him the food
He looked at me with eyes so full of love 
I smiled and walked away 
I wanted to take a picture but 
I was too caught in the moment 
For some reason it felt right
For thing so simple made me feel alive.
