Get A Move On

Upon waking this morning I took account of all my aches and pains. My back hurt, hips needed to be stretched, my hands were asleep and tight, had to flex them several times, my neck hurt, never could get comfortable last night and therefore did not sleep worth a damn. Shoulders are crunchy and I have a catch under my right shoulder blade, probably from the way I sit while typing at my desk. Is all this a result of my aging body? The crappy (new) couch we bought when we moved in this new house a year ago, or the fact I have been getting no exercise to speak of for the last month or so? Maybe it’s all the above. I try to get up and move around as much as possible, sitting is the new smoking they say. The weather should improve this week, so I will try to incorporate a walk or two into my busy schedule and see if that improves things. Chao baby-I’m off to ready myself for work.
