The highest compliment I could hope to receive from a stranger is, “Thank you for encouraging me to move ahead”. A small thing to some who perhaps never needed encouragement.

I know what it feels like to see real support in someone’s eyes. It is gasoline to a whimpering flame.

Oh, to be the gasoline to someone’s flame. That is my obsession, birthed from my own quenched thirst for encouragement. My success though not reliant on this obsession is surely defined by it.

And that is what my truth has to be whether in obscurity or high exposure.
