Ignorance is Bliss
But knowledge is power.

What day is it?
That question has been on my mind ever since I started this challenge of writing an article for 100 consecutive days.
But it’s a question I’ve been unwilling to allow myself to answer.
I have no idea how many articles I’ve written. And I have no idea how many I have left to write.
This unawareness isn’t by accident.
As someone who’s constantly stressing about the past and/or future, I figured this was a way to keep myself in the present.
And thankfully, I’ve been proven right.
Each morning, I do my best to come up with (what I deem to be) an interesting idea, and an interesting way to write about it.
I don’t look ahead or behind; I just look straight at the screen before me, until it’s no longer blank.
Then I get up the next day and do it again.
But now, by doing the rough math in my head, I can sense I’m getting toward the end. I’m approaching my 100th day.
And I’m not sure what to do.
A part of me feels like I should figure out where I stand; the other part worries about the fallout that information might bring.
There’s no denying this ignorance has been bliss.
But ultimately, knowledge is power.
So the question becomes: Have I grown enough through this experience to handle it?
