It was NOT a Whirlwind

I wish we’d all stop using “whirlwind” to describe the not so instantaneous moments in our lives that seem to surprise us even when they don’t.

I am exhausted of comparisons and what using words like whirlwind does to our ability to simply live our experiences.

“There is no such thing as a life that’s better than yours”, J Cole harmoniously growls.

It’s true. And only your witness of the experience can validate that.

Just live.

Most of the occurrences described as instant, have taken much longer to develop. The results seem instant but the work has been on going.
