It’s Not All Wine & Roses

My father once told me, “it’s not all wine and roses”. The topic was marriage. But the saying is applicable for every day life. I am proud millennial — but one of our most notorious shortcomings, is the inability to deal with disappointment, delays, and even details. Most days that we classify as “bad” are actually just mediocre. And even if the day was certifiably God-awful, why should our lives be void of the inconvenience of a bad day?

Get up — figuratively — even if you’re presently standing. And prepare for a good day, better known as tomorrow.
