Just saw a guy wearing flips flops pull out a sharpie to write on one of the subway platform advertisements.
I’ve seen the markings. Mustaches or perhaps a rogue unibrow, but never the artist behind the art.
I hadn’t ever thought about the motivation behind defacing the posters but now I get that it’s just out of pure boredom. Maybe I’ll slip a marker into my bag for the next time I’m waiting on a late night train.
